The Faith Movement    The Faith movement is a group of priests, religious and lay Catholics drawn together by a sharedvision of Christ as “Lord of the cosmos and of history” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 668) and Lord of the individual mind and heart.  Since the movement was formed in 1972, we have worked to foster the Catholic faith and spiritual life of many people, especially through youth events  and various publications

Southwark Vocations   Two thousand years ago Jesus Christ instituted the Catholic priesthood to continue his ministry here on earth. Since then the Church has ordained men to serve God and his people, recognising that some roles within the Christian community can only be performed by a priest. The priesthood is a sacrament and a ministry that is vital and irreplaceable. It is also a vocation – a calling Christ gives to those he wants to follow him in a life of love expressed in service. In these pages we try to give you some idea of the life and ministry of a diocesan priest in the Catholic Church.
